Free services are conjured into existence, yet the costs are simply shifted, smuggled into the prices of unrelated goods and services so that no consumer can trace their true origin. Entire balancing systems are propped up, and balancing power must be kept on permanent standby like some unpaid sentinel—costs which, of course, are silently extracted from the public purse. And all of this is compounded by the crushing burden of mandates and the ever-expanding carnival of DEI commandments, which infiltrate the decision-making processes of lumbering public corporations, twisting them away from utility and toward ideology.
What results is not a simple subsidy but an elaborate cocktail—an intoxicant brewed of money-making schemes and cost-avoidance stratagems—all of it, in the end, dumped onto the unsuspecting shoulders of the public. This tangle cannot merely be trimmed; it must be unwound.Yet the most crucial act, above all, would be to expose the fraud for what it truly is: a deception wrapped in the fraudulent vestments of “science,” a science that never existed except in the proclamations of its priesthood. The perpetrators must be driven into the open, smoked out of their burrows like vermin, accused without mercy, prosecuted under the same fraud statutes used against petty swindlers, and—if justice still means anything—convicted. The money, of course, will never be clawed back. But the spectacle of conviction itself would be a signal, a reminder that fraud, however grand, is still fraud, and that the age of impunity may yet have an end.
